Introduction

Compassionate, Knowledgeable, Ethical, Evidence based medicine

As a Veterinarian I provide relief services for the greater Phoenix area with a preference for the East Valley. After graduating from Iowa State University in 2005 I completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center in Northbrook Illinois. For the past 6 years I have been working in both small animal and emergency practices treating dogs, cats and a variety of exotic animals. My husband and I, along with our dog Nanuk and 3 cats, moved to Chandler Arizona when he accepted a position as a Medical Device Product Engineer in the area in July of 2011.

As a relief veterinarian, I understand the concerns an owner faces when leaving their business for any period of time. If you need relief for personal emergencies, planned time off, or for relief of your surgical backlog I can provide you with top quality relief veterinarian care. Smoothly transitioning into your practice and working seamlessly with your other attending veterinarians and staff to keep your business fully operational is my top priority.

I offer compassionate, evidence-based medicine and have an exceptional ability to communicate with clients in a way that will tie them to your practice. I have a broad knowledge base with particular emphasis in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Neurology, Soft Tissue Surgery, and Grief Management. Multitasking and efficiency enable me to see a full schedule of clients or manage a number of emergency cases simultaneously. I also understand how difficult it is to transfer cases between doctors and effectively communicate pertinent information. Rest assured I am known for my exceptional record keeping.

Please contact me by phone or e-mail if I can answer questions or help your clinic in any way.
